Pattaya is the sports capital of Thailand. There seems to be every imaginable sport or game available for your fun, exercise and enjoyment. There are indoor sports, outdoor sports. There are sports on the land. There are sports on and under the sea. There are sports in the air.
What is your game? Do you like to play cards? (No gambling, please) Do you like to ride horses? Do you like to racecars or motorbikes? Every sport or game is in Pattaya.
Did you know that Anna Kornikova is Pattaya’s sports ambassador? She is an international tennis champion. Did you know that some of the European sports teams come to Pattaya to live and practice during the off season? It’s freezing cold in the Northern Hemisphere.
Did you know that Tiger Wood is Thai/American? The greatest golfer of all time has got Thai blood in his veins. Did you know that there are international golf courses designed by the legendary golfers of the world in Thailand?
I’ll bet you didn’t know that there is a miniature racecar track in Pattaya. The people buy and race cars that are like toys. The cars are about 18 inches long. They are remote controlled cars with amazing detail and speed.
Did you know that Pattaya has every type of ocean sport that you have ever read, seen or heard about? I’ll bet there are some sports that you haven’t imagined too. It’s fun.
There are body builders in Pattaya and gyms of different styles. There are boxing and “Muey Thai” gyms, trainers and couches.
There is lawn bowling. They have daily games in the evening and after work when the weather starts to cool down and then they turn on the lights at night too. It is so high class.
Is dancing a sport? Well, maybe not but there are dance clubs where you can get some exercise and have a great time and might even meet someone of interest too.
Pattaya is the place to study and lean about a new game or sport for you. Think about it and then start your search. Ask someone in Pattaya about the game or sport you are seeking. Do a “search” on the Internet. Read all the papers and magazines in Pattaya.
