There’s a new Chinese restaurant in Pattaya and it is good! It’s located on the corner of Soi Bau Khao and Soi Chaiyapoon. It’s opposite Soi Diana. Look for the sign that reads “Chow Soy” and Nadia’s Restaurant. I didn’t understand this but it seems that this restaurant has two names or maybe it’s going thru a change. Whatever! The yellow sign outside says, “Chow Soy” and the sign on the building and door reads, “Nadia’s Restaurant.” Go figure. Welcome to Thailand.
Now read this. The food is really, really good. The menu says that the food is European style, whatever that means. What is European style Chinese food served in Thailand? It’s so confusing. But I don’t care because the food is soooooo good. And it’s cheap too.
I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup and it was the size of a birdbath. The noodles were perfect. The soup was perfect. There were extra vegetables too. Bamboo, I think. And there were plenty of large pieces of white meat chicken. Oh, yum! It tasted so good. It was only 55 Baht too. Can you believe it?
Did you know that Chinese chicken soup will cure a cold and the flu? It will make you look younger and help you to relax and maybe even help you to sleep better at night. It will also bring you good luck and make you rich. Maybe.
My girl friend had chicken chow mein. I sampled some of her meal and it was also very, very good. I know now that we will be going back. I got to try some of the other things on the menu, like Czechwuan or is it Szechwan? (Hot), sweet and sour, Chinese fried rice, curry dishes and I’m dying to try some of the “Specialties.” The “Specialties” are extra large meals so you might want to eat family style. I like family style because I get to try a little of everything.
There is Thai food and other extra’s on the menu for you to try. Everybody loves Chinese food and if you have just arrived on the planet and not tried Chinese food, I highly recommend you start by visiting “Chow Soy” or is it Nadia’s restaurant. Whatever. Ha ha ha ha ha ha

Ps. They have “Free delivery.” I think. It sounds too good to be true. There must be a minimum order and a maximum area of delivery. Ask them. Call them, if you want at 09 093 0111 (English) or 07 942-4240 (Thai) and don’t forget to ask for a free menu to take back to your place. Oh, Yes! See the ad in this paper.
