Can you imagine 4000 more tourists per day invading good old pattaya? Well, my friends, get ready they could start landing as early as December. The new pier at the end of walking street will be completed and I asked if it could accommodate cruise ships. I again asked if it could accommodate a ship of 139 meters and he said yes. Can you imagine what this could mean for pattaya? It means more money, more jobs and a better life for everyone. There are 80 men working on the pier. There will be parking, a boat ramp for private boats and a pier for the boats that take the tourists to the floating restaurants. Some people might say they wish things were like they were 20 years ago and not so many people and lower prices. Well, my friends, that is not possible. We need to help the Thai people and the local economy in every way and not ride on the backs of our Thai brothers and sisters. What is good for Pattaya is good for you too. Live long and prosper.
